Routine Care 

 Most horses commonly need recurring care such as: 

 - Teeth floating - Hoof trimming - Deworming 

 These procedures help maintain welfare and long term performance. 

 Optional Procedures 

 Some operations are not strictly required, but are recommended depending on the horse’s use and condition. These include: 

 - Bit fitting - Saddle fitting - Shoeing - Gelding - Microchipping - Weight checks - Genetic testing 

 Required Procedures 

 Some situations make veterinary or specialist intervention necessary. This is especially true for: 

 - Illness-related treatment - Pregnancy - Overdue bred horses - Certain dental or hoof conditions 

 Examples of required procedures may include: 

 - Ultrasound - C-section - Tooth extraction - Hoof cleaning - Illness-specific cures 

 Medication 

 Some illnesses require treatment over multiple in game days. In these cases, players must buy the correct medicine from the pharmacy in Ventura and administer it in the same general way as feed. 

 The listed treatment days are not consecutive, so players do not need to log in on uninterrupted daily intervals to complete a course.
