Quick Start

Making money on EquestriCraft comes down to building a few steady habits instead of chasing one single “best” method. Right now, the current server systems support several income paths: daily join rewards, daily challenges, quest rewards, job roles, horse sales, plot sales, and horse breeding.

If you are new, the easiest approach is simple: log in daily, keep an eye on your daily challenges, run quests whenever you can, and start taking paid work once you’re settled into the server. If you already have horses, plots, or a business, your biggest income usually comes from selling services to other players.

Quick Start

If you want the fastest beginner-friendly money routine, do this:

  • Log in every day for your daily join reward.
  • Open /daily-challenges and finish as many as you can.
  • Run quests through /quest.
  • Check your balance with /bal.
  • Once you have settled in, start using jobs, horse sales, or plot sales for bigger payouts.

1. Daily Join Rewards

One of the simplest ways to earn money is just by logging in. The server gives a daily join reward automatically the first time you log in each day. This reward multiplies for every day in a row you logged on, and resets after 28 days.

2. Daily Challenges

Use /daily-challenges to open your current challenge list. Daily challenges rotate and often track horse-centered gameplay such as:

  • completing daily horse care
  • spending ride time on horseback
  • finishing lunging sessions
  • purchasing tack

When a challenge is completed, the server automatically awards both money and XP. That makes daily challenges one of the best “do what you were already doing anyway” money sources.

3. Quests

Use /quest to open your active quest menu. Quests are a strong money-maker because they are built with both money rewards and XP rewards.

Many quests reward a larger first-time completion payout, and replayable quests can still pay again afterward. If you enjoy structured progression, quests are one of the cleanest and most reliable ways to build your balance.

4. Server Jobs

One of the best long-term ways to make money is by joining an official server job. These are the career-style positions players apply for, and they can turn into a steady source of paid work and reputation.

Examples of server jobs include:

  • Vet /apply vet
  • Farrier /apply farrier
  • Dentist /apply dentist
  • Chiropractor /apply chiro
  • Geneticist /apply geneticist

These jobs are ideal for players who want a more professional path on the server. Once you are accepted into one of these positions, your income usually comes from performing services for other players and being active in that field. Every operation gives xp toward your job role in which you can then rank up and earn more money and XP over time.

5. Selling Horses

Horse sales are a direct player-to-player income source.

Use:

  • /horse sell <horse name> <player>

important details:

  • both players need to be online for the sale flow
  • the buyer confirms the sale in-game
  • not every horse is sellable

If you breed, train, or raise desirable horses, horse sales can become one of the highest-value money methods on the server.

6. Selling Plots

Plots can also be sold player-to-player through the plot system.

Use /plot to access your plot tools and menus. The current system supports selling a plot to another player with confirmation from both sides.

This is more of a bigger one-time payout than a daily method, but it can be excellent if enjoy building to sell.

7. Player-Run Businesses and Services

If you prefer a more entrepreneurial route, player-run businesses are a huge part of the economy. This is where roleplay and service jobs really shine.

Good examples include:

  • riding lessons
  • training programs
  • boarding barns
  • breeding operations
  • event hosting
  • photography or media services
  • building and decorating
  • feeding services

If you own a business, you can invoice players or even other businesses directly using:

  • /create-invoice player
  • /create-invoice business

This makes businesses one of the most flexible money-makers on the server. If you are creative, consistent, and easy to work with, a good service business can become one of your biggest income sources.

8. Bank and Money Management

Making money matters, but keeping it matters too.

Useful commands and systems:

  • /bal or /balance to check your money
  • /pay <player> <amount> <reason> to transfer money to another player
  • bank teller NPCs to access the bank menu
  • savings accounts for separating stored money from your main balance

The bank system currently supports:

  • viewing your accounts
  • creating savings accounts
  • renaming accounts
  • depositing into savings
  • withdrawing from savings
  • reviewing transaction history

If you struggle with impulse spending, moving profits into savings is one of the smartest habits you can build.

Final Tips

  • Consistency beats grinding. Daily systems add up fast.
  • Quests and challenges are the best beginner money makers.
  • Jobs, horse sales, and business invoices are the best scaling income methods.
  • Big payouts usually come from other players, not from one-off rewards.
  • Keep your balance organized so you do not burn through earnings too quickly.
